Down-Payment Assistance for Vacant Foreclosures in Anoka County and Targeted Areas!
Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Crystal, Champlin, New Hope and Richfield! To revitalize and stabilize communities HUD, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, is funding a new federal program titled the Neighborhood Stabilization Program to help homebuyers purchase foreclosed vacant properties at 0% interest. A potential homebuyer does not have to be a first-time homebuyer and the assistance is forgivable over time. Highlights:
- $10,000 Incentive Assistance
- $20,000 Homebuyer Gap Assistance
- 0% Interest Deferred Forgivable
- Down Payment Only 1.75% of Sale Price or $1000 whichever is higher
- Don't have to be a first-time homebuyer
- Must Occupy
Before you look at foreclosed homes check out the areas and more guidelines: If you are a first-time homebuyer, anyone who has not owned a home in the past 3 years, you may be eligible for the $8000 homebuyer tax credit. Find out soon if you qualify, the $8000 homebuyer tax credit Expires April 30, 2010. Move-up buyers receive $6500 tax credit expires April 30, 2010.
